This has to stop

When you say over and over that you’re frustrated.

When you say time again that something needs to change.

When you think you want to move forward but it’s six months later and you’re in the exact same spot.

This has to stop.

We are so lucky in the western world to be comfortable and, really, want for nothing. But how often does that also mean we stagnate?

I’m not consistent in making new year’s resolutions but looking back over the last couple of years I’ve entered several New Years with the same resolve.

Many things are very hard and aren’t easily overcome and but for me complacency and a lack of understanding of hard work are the true story.

This won’t be true for you but for me:

Wanting to spend more time in prayer/reading/learning = make the time

Wanting to lose weight = eating less

This has to stop.

I barely know I’m alive, I’ve faced fights but mostly my day to day comes so easily.

This has to stop. Complacency has to stop.
